Our offices are based at 58 Charlotte Road in Shoreditch.

Dominic Bevacqua
Dominic Bevacqua

Dominic is on an eternal quest to see how things work. To him, the phrase 'no user-serviceable parts inside' has always been a challenge rather than a warning. Though currently focused on the server-side aspects of web applications, he has been exposed to many areas of software development. He has worked on software for a wide range of industries, from online publishing in the research sector to high-volume e-commerce websites in the retail and insurance sectors. He has a taste for the abstract but maintains a pragmatic approach to development.

When not attached to a computer Dominic can be seen engaging in a variety of mountain sports, his real passion being sport climbing. He is deeply unsatisfied by the absence of large rock faces in London but remains optimistic.

Dominic has a BA in Physics from the University of Oxford and an MSc in the Philosophy of Science from LSE. He has yet to attempt his cycling proficiency test or any distance swimming qualifications.

Luke has spent the last 10 years working and playing in the software industry. He started out as a web developer using simple scripting languages back in 1999 and has since explored every aspect of software development that time and opportunity has allowed. Whilst primarily a Java person, Luke also enjoys tinkering with databases, UIs, graphic design and even a bit of .NET here and there.

Reading, writing, snowboarding, skiing, music, squash, movies, talking, listening (but mostly talking) and drinking are all things that Luke lists under the heading "fun".

Luke didn't go to Oxford University but does have a BEng from Southampton, though he can't remember what subject it's in.

Jim Moodie

Jim has been working in the software industry since 1999. He started out in consulting at Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, working for clients like Corus and General Motors as well as some smaller startups. He also worked in conjunction with staff from Microsoft Consulting UK on projects and with software product teams at Microsoft in the US to generate new potential offerings for the company. After this he eventually gravitated towards project management for some of the UK's leading .com companies (uswitch.com, upmystreet.com).

Jim has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University
